Yesterday we wished upon a star for a mid priced veg line of designer shoes. Something more affordable than what is currently out there. Well, the Vice President of Charmone Shoes wrote to us with fantastic news…
“Hey Swanky Veg, Charmone hears you loud and clear on the cost of vegan shoes! We’ve been working to get our prices down- impossible while working in Italy- but now getting better with factories in the US and Brazil. All shoes in our upcoming Spring line will be under $200 (our first few collections were all over $300) and we’re continuing to search for ways to get under $150 without exploiting workers. Stay tuned! Thanks”
Charmone Shoes uses environmentally responsible fabrics, are obviously animal free, are sweat shop free and 5% of their profits go to organizations that support people, animals and the environment. Plus their designs are unique, have a wonderful vintage/edgy feel, and are made with quality and care. And don’t worry, Swanky Veg will post when the new spring line is available. We can’t wait.
Thank you Charmone Shoes for working hard to make high fashion veg shoes more affordable for the masses.
The shoes linked to above are still at the higher price point since it’s the fall line. We just had to give examples of how beautiful the shoes are. (FYI: For Charmone’s past seasons designs on sale, click here)

$200 dollars are still a lot for one pair of shows
but expecting what future will bring, because I like many of the designs of Charmone Shoes

Charmone may be good for the young and hip, but what about the older, classic vegan? All those Charmone bold colors and designs draw attention to your feet when I like people noticing ME! Thinking classic styling here, and maybe even those retractable heels which allow you to go from low to high heels in a flash.
