When the Pound Kicks the Dollars Butt

With the pound kicking the dollars butt, we’ve been hesitant to post items from England even though they have a great selection of veg items. Bourgeois Boheme definitely has a great selection. These aren’t stupidly expensive, even when you convert. Just think of the price marked here as double of what it will cost in dollars. But all the same, cute vegan shoes are cute vegan shoes. No matter how annoying the exchange rate.

Lordy! More beautiful shoes from across the pond. Why, oh why, can’t we manage to produce classy, basic feminine shoes here?
Interestingly, I had my husband take a look at those very nice Belgium shoes and asked him to guess where they originated. Damn if he didn’t guess Holland, which was pretty close! He used to live in Europe and toured a lot, so I guess he managed to get an idea of each country’s distinctive fashion trends.
I vote we import some of that style here!

We hear you. At least we have Charmone and Stella. But agreed, those Georgette shoes (and the great prices) make me wish I lived in Belgium…
