Our hearts flutter with longing any time we post something from Georgette Shoes. What we really need to do, is convince stores in the U.S. to carry them. So you could go into a store and peruse the beautiful designs, knowing that each and every one is ethical and made just for you. Oh, what a market there would be for Georgette in Swanky Veg’s home: NYC. The vegan world would bang down doors, and the non vegan world would wonder why they still have any leather shoes at all.

Beyond Skin is a veg shoe maker worn by celebrities such as Natalie Portman to the Oscars. What’s the catch? They aren’t cheap. And they are a UK based company which means they are sold in pounds. Anyone who knows how weak the dollar is at the moment knows what that means. Pretty much double the price and that’s what it will be in dollars.

But they have gorgeous shoes, so if you can afford them, or are a bride looking for a special pair of shoes, check them out. They do custom bridal. You’ll drool.
